Classic  Key Lime Pie

This classic Key Lime Pie has a buttery graham cracker crust & a sweet-tart filling bursting with fresh lime flavor!

Ingredients

Condensed  Milk

Lime Zest

Egg Yolks

Salt

Lime Juice

Combine crumbs, butter, sugar, and salt in a bowl. Texture should be similar to wet sand.

Press crust evenly along bottom of pie pan. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Let crust cool before filling.

Whisk together egg yolks & condensed milk. Then add lime zest, lime juice & salt. Whisk until smooth.

Pour the filling on top of the baked & cooled crust all the way to the top of the pie shell.

Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Let pie cool & refrigerate overnight.

Combine heavy cream & powdered sugar. Transfer to a piping bag with a star tip and pipe rosettes around the outer edge of the pie.

Garnish with a sprinkle of lime zest and lime wedges.
