HOW TO MAKE GINGERBREAD

These deliciously spiced gingerbread cookies are the perfect addition to your favorite holiday drink! Here's how to make them!

Grab Your Ingredients!

Flour

Egg

Baking Soda

Vanilla Extract

Molasses

Spices

Brown Sugar

Butter

Whisk flour, baking soda, and spices together and set aside.

Beat butter and brown sugar until creamy. Add molasses and continue to beat until the mix is a uniform color.

Add egg, vanilla extract, and mix until combined. Mixture will be wet.

Add the dry ingredients in 3 batches, scraping the sides and bottom of the bowl as needed. Mix until just combined. 

Divide dough in half and form two discs of the dough using your hands. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.

Roll dough out on a floured surface and cut using 3D cookie cutter shapes. 

Bake on a parchment lined baking sheet at 350 for 7-8 minutes.

Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Once cool, you decorate them with royal icing (optional but cute!).
