Perfect for Christmas

You'll love these Christmas Pinwheel Sugar Cookies. The swirled red, white, and green dough is rolled in colorful sprinkles!

Mix the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Then add an egg, vanilla, and other dry ingredients until well combined.

Divide the dough evenly into three portions, add food coloring, and wrap well before refrigerating.

Roll out each color of dough between two sheets of parchment paper. Then stack the rectangles on top of each other.

Roll the dough up tightly into a log, roll the log in sprinkles, wrap in plastic, and refrigerate again.

Once the log is firm, use a large sharp knife to cut cookie rounds and bake!
