Trim the edges off jumbo cupcakes. Cut out the center of each cupcake and fill it with jam, then replace the top.
Spread a thin layer of buttercream over the top and sides of the cupcake.
Use a small basketweave piping tip to start creating the basket pattern.
Continue to alternate vertical and horizontal lines to make the woven basket effect.
Top the cupcake with green coconut and Easter candy. Finish by adding a fondant basket handle (optional).
