PUFF PASTRY PEARS

Start by peeling the pears and removing the core from the bottom.

Place the pears in a pot with water, sugar, cinnamon, and other spices.

Simmer until the pears are soft and tender, then drain and cool.

Cut puff pastry into 1/2 inch strips and wind around the pears.

Brush the pears with an egg wash and sprinkle with sugar. Bake until the pastry is golden brown.
