Stars and stripes cookies

These stars and stripes cookies are perfect for the 4th of July! Learn all the tips and tricks you'll need to make these cute sugar cookies.

Divide and color sugar cookie dough into 3 parts. Roll out the red and blue dough separately.

Roll the doughs into small rectangles. Chill well, then cut thin strips of blue and red dough.

Arrange the strips of red and blue dough into a large rectangle, alternating colors.

Gently roll over the top of the dough so they adhere together. Chill, then cut out circles using a cookie cutter.

Roll the edges of the cookies in sprinkles. Then cut out star shapes in the center of the cookies.

Press the plain stars into the middle of the striped cookies, and add striped stars to the plain cookies. Bake for 9-10 minutes.
