Baked in glass jars!


Whip up a batch of miniature pear pies for a fun fall dessert. They're baked right in glass jars, and they make a great gift!

Prepare the pear filling, & line mini jars with a thin layer of pie crust.

Fill the jars with cooled pie filling.

Cut circles of dough 2" wider than the jars & cut a heart shape in the center.

Press the circle of dough on top, crimp the edges, brush with egg and sprinkle sugar on top!

Bake the pies until the tops are golden brown. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
