These homemade Apple Cider Fritters are crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, and bursting with caramelized apples.

Prep your doughnut dough and apple filling. Roll out the dough and spread half of the apples on top.

Fold the dough over on itself, and press down gently to seal the apples inside.

Press it back into a rectangle, and put the rest of the apples on top. Fold the dough over itself again.

Pat the dough back into a rectangle & cut the dough into small 1.5" squares.

Gather together 4-5 squares & press them together into a patty.

Place fritters on a baking sheet, allow them to rise and then deep fry until puffed and golden brown.

Finish by brushing the crisp fritters with a sweet glaze.
