You won't believe how easy it is to make these striped cookies with embedded stars! (Bonus: they taste awesome too 😉)
Divide and color sugar cookie dough into 3 parts. Chill all of them, then roll out the red and blue dough separately.
Cut the red and blue cookie dough into thin strips. You want the dough well-chilled during this part, because cold dough is much easier to work with!
Arrange the strips of red and blue dough into a large rectangle on a piece of parchment, alternating colors. Chill well once the rectangle is done.
Press the plain stars into the middle of the striped cookies, and add striped stars to the plain cookies. Bake for 9-10 minutes.
