Chocolate Flower Cupcakes

Learn how to make chocolate flowers from candy melts, and use them to create bright and cheerful flower cakes or cupcakes.

Scoop cake batter into muffin pan lined with paper cupcake liners and bake. 

Mix butter, powdered sugar, milk, and salt until creamy and light in color.

Melt different colored candy melts separately in the microwave. 

Brush the candy coating in petal shapes onto a strip of parchment paper. 

Once dry, brush a second contrasting color onto the base of the petals.

Pipe a swirl of frosting onto each cupcake and place the petals along the edge of the cupcake.
