Combine butter and sugar. Mix together until light and fluffy.

Slowly add the dry ingredients and mix just until combined.

The dough should be soft but not sticky. Divide into 3 equal portions.

Color dough red and green. Wrap each portion in plastic wrap and refrigerate.

Roll each color out between two sheets of parchment to form a long rectangle.

Stack the dough rectangles on top of each other in this order: green, white, then red on top.

Roll the dough up into a long, tight spiral.

Brush dough with corn syrup and roll in sprinkles. Then wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 45 minutes.

Use a large, sharp chef’s knife to slice the log into rounds a little under ½” thick.

Bake at 350 for 13-15 minutes, until they are plush and puffed up.

Enjoy!
